Your Doctors offer high quality Aged Care Services and are experienced in Palleative Care. We believe the elderly are at higher risk and that regular medical reviews are an important part of healthcare. 

Where possible non medication strategies will be utilised and medications reviewed, reduced and minimised to ensure they are absolutely needed and indicated, and not responsible for detrimental side effects. We endeavour to treat any illness within the Nursing Home only resorting to transport to Hospital in the event of an emergency. 

Your Doctors are contactable after hours for emergencies by the Nurse in charge of the facility, and encourage this contact where possible before calling the services of an after hours medical deputising service.

Please ensure that if you act for a patient, eg. as ‘Power of Attorney’ that you or the facility provide a copy of the appropriate paperwork to the Clinic. Please note the patient’s signed consent or evidence of an active Power of Attorney is required before any personal information may be discussed.    

Cost of visits/consultations:  
Your Doctors currently bulk bill residents on planned visit dates*. Out of pocket expenses will apply for visits requested outside of usual visiting times. These visiting times are pre arranged with the facility in question.

How to contact our Doctors regarding the Health of your Loved One?
For most cases the first point of contact regarding medical and general care should be with the Registered Nurse on Duty at the facility. In emergencies the Nurse will contact the Doctor directly. For non-urgent matters we recommend you meet our Doctors on their routine visit day at the facility. Alternatively an appointment can be made at the Clinic at a more convenient time, however please note that these appointments do not attract a Medicare Rebate meaning the entire cost of the consultation must be paid at time of consultation.
